Leaf & Bloom: Family Flower Workshop

Explore local, regeneratively grown flowers with your child and turn petals into a colour-filled play silk.
This fun and engaging workshop will get you and your child into our flower and food gardens.
This workshop will begin with a kid-friendly farmstead tour with an exploration of the plants being grown. We will also be harvesting some special dye flowers for your craft.
After the walk around, you’ll be led through a detailed demonstration of bundle dyeing. You and your child will then create one bundle dyed play silk.
Come ready to explore the divine colours of flowers with us!
Cost: $55/pair - one child and accompanying adult. Each ticket is for a spot to make one bundle dyed play silk. If more than one child, each additional child is $35.
Location: At farmstead. We are located 15 minutes outside the downtown of Almonte. More information will be leading up to the workshop.
